FAQ
-
What are your qualifications?
I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor through CCE. This means I have completed training to provide supervision and had multiple colleagues recommend me for certification. I also have over eight years’ experience supervising counselors through practicum, internship, and licensure.
-
Can I have multiple supervisors?
Yes, in Colorado you can have multiple supervisors. I require that you disclose any other supervisors you work with so that we can collaborate when necessary.
-
Is it okay to just attend group supervision once in a while?
Yes! Drop in when you can. It’s nice to have some consistency to network and build relationships, but I do not require regular attendance in group.
-
Is EMDR Consultation also supervision?
No. While I am happy to support my supervisees with EMDR cases, EMDR consultation toward hours for certification needs to focus solely on your EMDR cases and refining your technique. Additionally, consultation on any case means that you can take or leave the suggestions. In supervision, if your supervisor says that you need to adjust your strategy with a client, it’s a requirement.
-
How often do we need to meet?
If you are an LPCC in Colorado, a rule of thumb is one hour per week if you are seeing 15 clients per week. That’s the average to complete your hours in two years working 50 weeks per year.
If you have a lighter case load, we can meet on a schedule that fits for you. Just remember that you need 100 hours total of supervision when you apply for full licensure.

Why work with you?
I strive to offer affordable services to clinicians. I know that this isn’t a field where anyone makes a lot of money and my primary goal is to help new counselors. I also love EMDR and enjoy helping other clinicians gain more confidence using it.
In addition to my clinical background, I have experience working in a variety of settings and running a group practice.
