ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Amy Armstrong. I am passionate about training the next generation of counselors, and I hope that you allow me to join you on your journey as a therapist.

I have over 10 years of experience in private practice in two different states: Colorado and New Jersey. For the duration, I have accepted health insurance. I even completed all of my own credentialing for insurance panels, and I negotiate rates every year.

In addition to private practice, I have worked in community colleges and nonprofit settings. Before switching to trauma therapy, I focused on revamping career development programs and career coaching. I still love the career development field, but EMDR is my current love.
